BIG SCRUB FIRE IN STOKES VALLEY

Fight To Keep Flames From Settled Area HUNDREDS OF ACRES ABLAZE One of the most tvitle-spread scrub fires in recent years broke out at Stokes Valley last night and was not brought under control till a late hour this morning. Several hundred acres had been swept by Hie tl.-imes when tin* alarm was sounded al approximately 1.1 pan. Tlie area destroyed is a (tortion of the S. D.
