Patriotic Art Union Tlie closing date of the art union in aid of Wellington provincial patriotic funds, in which the first prize is a house ami garage in Lower Hutt, valued at £2500, has been extended till April 30. The house, whose equipment will include an electric washing-machine, is insured free of charge for one year. Second prize in the art union is a section valued at £125 at Paekakariki, and Hie third prize £5O worth of groceries. Tickets Cost .1 - each and are on sale at all post, oilices in tlie Wellington metropolitan area ami from authorized ticket-sellers throughout the Wellington provincial patriotic zones. All motley paid in by February 10 will go to tlie general Wellington Provincial Patriotic Fund. After tlmt date, in tlie 'Wellington city area, all money from tlie sale of tickets will be credited to the Public Services Queen, Miss Joan Young, in tlie patriotic queen carnival contest: in tin- Hutt Valley area to tlie Hutt Valley queen, Mrs. E. T. W. Love: and in tlie rest, of the Wellington province all proceeds will go to the general Wellington Provincial Patriotic Fund as hitherto. Tlie art. union is to be drawn on May 31.
