STRUCK BY TRAIN
Whakatu Boy Killed Dominion Special Service. NAPIER. .lanuary 31. Cameron Smith, the til-year-old sun of Mr. Smith. Whakaln. was killed instantly when he was struck by the southbound express from Napier this morninu at S.oll o’clock.' The boy left home fairly early in the morning to go fishing in the Ngarnroro River and bad been walking along the railway I rack fioni the Na|der side of 1 lie station in I he direction of the railway-bridge. His lishing lines were found nearby. There were no eyewitnesses Io the accident apart from the enginedriver. The train was brought Io an immediate stop.
