Opening Of New Laboratory At Wallaceville The latest scientific methods of investigating such problems among livestock as disease and nourishment are to be used in the new animal research laboratory at Wallaceville, which is to be officially opened by Ike Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, on Friday next. Those who arc present will be given the opportunity of inspecting the important work in progress at the station which is controlled by the Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the animal research station at Ruakura, Hamilton. The new laboratory will be under the supervision of Mr. O. S. M. Hopkirk, who has been in charge ot animal research at Wallaceville since tins division of the Department of Agriculture was established. The other building at the station will be used for diagnostic work for the department and the farming public.
