NEW GLAMOUR FABRIC
Non-Inflammable Rayon Glamour clothes for women may soon be made out of a new noninflammable rayon material. It is an entirely new kind of fabric find will lend itself to fresh effects of dyes amt manufacture. The fabric may also be used in a. new kind of “silK” stockings that will not ladder. It was invented by Dr. J. B. Speakman, head of the Department of Textile Industries at Leeds University. He said at Bradford recently Hint use of the material would enable a saving to be made in materials for war purposes. Scientists have been experimenting for months to produce substitutes for fabrics made scarce owing to the war.
