Mr. H. 11. Sterling left Auckland ou Saturday by the Mariposa for Sydney.The Rev. Dr. J. D. Salmond, youth director of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, is at present in Hamilton as a speaker at the Presbyterian summer school. Pilot Officer A. M. Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Scott, Fox Street, Gisborne, has received notice of bis appointment to a post in the Air Ministry, London. He is at present on leave with his parents. Pilot Officer Scott has been in the Defence Department for the past two years.
