CHAMBERLAIN.—On December 28, 1940, at Hamilton, William Chamberlain, of Woodville, beloved husband of Annie Priscilla Chamberlain, in his 89th vear. Funeral at Hamilton.
COPPEN.—On December 30, 1940, at Auckland Hospital, Alice Coppen, loved mother of Elsie, Amur! and Huia. The Funeral will leave W. 11. Tongue and Son’s Chapel, Auckland, on Thursday, at 2 p.m.,- for the Crematorium.
GIMBLETT. —On December 29, 1940, Dorothea Millie, beloved sister .of Clifford, Geoffrey, Shirley, Josephine, and Mrs. A. Wood, 18 Sugarloaf Road, Brooklyn.
HUNTER. —On December 30, 1940, at Wellington, Barbara Ann, dearly beloved daughter of Vera Winifred and Stanley Sercombe Hunter, of 93 Cambridge Terrace, Waterloo, Lower Hutt; aged 12 months.
LUND. —On December 29, 1940, at YVhakataue (accidentally drowned), Alfred YVilliam Osborn, the beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Lund, of Maxima; aged 23 years.
MORTON. —On December 30, 1940, at YVellington, Annie Beatrice Morton, 46 Hobson Street; aged 85 years. Service at Cathedral Church of St. Paul's, Mulgrave Street, 9 a.m. today.
POTTEN.—On Sunday, December 29, 1940, at his residence, YY r ood Street, Greytown, Thomas, beloved husband -of Isobel Potten; aged 55 years.
SCOTT. —On December 30, 1940. at his late residence, Carnarvon, Percival Thomas, dearly' loved husband of Rose Alice Scott; aged 67 years.
STEWART.—On December 28, 1940 (accidentallv drowned), Flying Officer J. R. M. Stewart (Jock), dearly beloved son of Ylr. and Mrs. J. R. M. Stewart, Eltham; ’aged 26 years.
