Fourth Round: AUerhand beat Lennard (Auckland), Kelling drew with Wade (Wellington), Scott (Wanganui) drew with Vincent (’Wellington), C. Newiek (Auckland) beat Fairburn. Positions at end of the four rounds: Wade 34, AUerhand 3, Scott 2J, Newtek 2, Lcnnard 2, Bennett 14, Kelling, Fairburn and Vincent each half a point. Major Open EventFirst Round : Mrs. Short beat D.
