Roosevelt May Reply WASHINGTON, December 27. The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, questioned regarding the possibility of American mediation for a negotiated peace, for which the isolationists are at present pressing, replied tliat lie had no comment to make for tiie present. Previously Mr. Roosevelt had replied similarly to an identical question. It is anticipated tliat Mr. Roosevelt may answer this mediation talk during his broadcast on Sunday.
