(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, December 27. The chess congress continued in Timaru tonight. Results of completed games were:— Secon'd round: Fairburn v. Lennard. the former resigned: _ Scott v. Wade, the former resigned: Vincent v. Newell, the former resigned. Third round : Scott beat Newtek.
