WAIRARAPA BEATS HAWKE’S BAY
Three Wicket Margin (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MASTERTON. December 27. Wairarapa beat. Hawke's Bay by three wiekets in a cricket match which concluded today. Wairarapa scored 263 runs (Peterson 73, N. Hoar not out 68), and 173 for seven wickets (Peterson 35. Hour not out 28). Hawke'n Bay made 233 (Begiev 60 Mahonev not out 51), and 193 (Dyer 51). In a junior representative match Wairarapa beat Hawke's Bay by five wickets. Wairarapa made 215 and 232 for live wiekets (Fitzpatrick 106, Mexted not out 101). Hawke's Bay scored 255 and IS4 for nine wiekets, declared.
