Demonstrations In Thailand (Received October 15, 7.50 p.m.) BANGKOK, October J 4. Anti-French demonstrations continue. Large crowds in the streets of Bangkok urged the Government to present an ultimatum to France for the return of the Indo-Chinese frontier districts. The Minister of Publicity, Mr. Vila* Osthanonat, denied a report from Vichy that Thailand was co-operating with the Axis to help Japan to keep the Burma Roa'd closed. He recalled that Thailand had just exchanged the instrument of ratification of the nonaggression paet with Britain.
