CONVALESCENT HOME

Gift Of A Wireless Set At the June meeting of the board of trustees of the Wellington Convalescent Home the matron reported the gift of a wireless set to the home. The set was presented by an anonymous donor. The trustees have extended their sincere thanks for this generous gift. The matron also reported having received a ease of apples, books, vases, bananas and marmalade from the following: Mr. J. D. Wilson, Mrs. Martin, Miss Nathan,- Miss Groose and Miss Christiansen.

Good imported coats represent unequalled value today, when the supply availalbie is gradually being depleted. Hero are.two of outstanding merit:—Black witfh a self-bouclette stripe finished with a smart collar of black persian lamb with a V-shaped piece running down the front, and cuffs to match.
