Maximum Prices Fixed An order made by tlx; Price Tribunal was- gazetted last night fixing the following maximum prices at which scrap metal may be sold at any place in New Zealand: — Gun-metal: First grade, Old. a pound: second grade, 6d. a pound. Copper: First grade, 6Jd. a pound; second grade, 5Ad. a pound. Brass: First grade, sd. a pound; second grade. 4d. a pound. Cast iron: First grade, £4/15/- a ton; second grade, £4 a ton. Pure lead, £l/3/- a hundredweight. Battery lead, 12/- a hundredweight. Cast aluminium, 5(1. a pound. Rolled aluminium. 9d. a pound. Zinc castings. 16/- a hundredweight. Zinc sheet, 15/- a hundredweight. In each case the price is for delivery Io purchaser.
