INTOXICATED DRIVER SENT TO JAIL

For being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor-car m Mount Eden,-Arthur Vincent Hicks, aged 4bi builder, was sentenced to seven days hard labour. He pleaded not guilty. H s brother, Percy Leonard Hicks, aged 4t, painter, pleaded guilty to obstructing an arresting constable and was lined £2.
