While on his way to celebrate Mass in St. Mary's Convent early on Monday morning, lhe llev. I’utlier Vincent, Wanganui, was knocked down by a motor-car at the intersection of Guyton Street and Victoria Avenue. He received two broken legs, a broken wrist ami a Jiead injury, and his condition was reported by the hospital authorities to be as comfortable as could be expected. Father Vincent, who has boon stationed in Wanganui for more than four years, served ns chaplain with the British Imperial Forces in the last war, and is more than 60 years of age.
