DOCTOR ADMITTED TO MEDICAL SCHOOL
Resolution Rescinded (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 18. At a meeting of the council of Otago University this afternoon Mr. W. R. Brugh moved, in accordance with notice, “That the resolution passed on August 15, 1939. under which admission in 1940 to the medical school was refused to Dr. Burstoin, be rescinded.” A keen debate which followed showed a considerable diversity of opinion, but the motion was carried on the voices.
