RELIGIOUS SERVICES. CHRISTADELPHIAN LECTURE ON BIBLE TRUTH (God willing) J 0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET, SUNDAY, at 7 p.m. Subject: ‘•THE END DRAWING NEAR” NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, BUT THE END Ob' THE PRESENT AGE STYLED BY CHRIST "THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES,” WHEN HE SAID, ■THEY (THE JEWS) SHALL BE LED AWAY CAPTIVE INTO ALL NATIONS; AND JERUSALEM SHALL BE TRODDEN DOWN OF THE GENTILES UNTIL THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES BE FULFILLED." (Luke 21:24). The object of this lecture is to consider current events in the light of Bible prophecy. which reveals that the outcome ot the confusion now prevailing in Europe will be the formation of a powerful confederacy of nations under the leadership of "Gog of the land of Magog'’; that these forces of evil will be allured to the Holy Land, where they meet their doom by Divine intervention in the person of Jesus Christ returned to earth for the express purpose of establishing the long-promised Kingdom of God on earth. Thus we read:— “I WILL GATHER ALL NATIONS AGAINST JERUSALEM TO BATTLE; AND THE . CITY SHALL BE TAKEN . . . THEN SHALL THE LORD GO FORTH AND FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS AS WHEN HE ’ FOUGHT IN THE DAY J3F BATTLE. AND HIS FEET SHALL STAND IN THAT DAY UPON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES . . . AND THE LORD SHALL BE KING OVER ALL THE EARTH : IN THAT DAY THERE SHALL BE ONE LORD, AND HIS NAME ONE.” (Zechariah 14:2-9, see also Ezekiel, chap. 38. Eze. 39:1-16. Dan. 11:40-45 Dan. 12:1, Joel 3:1-2, Isa. 31:4-5, Isa. 17:12-14, Isa. 19:4 and 20, Jer. 30:4-7, Matt. 24:29-30, Luke 21:25-27, II Thess. 1:7-9, Rev. 11:15, Acts 17:31). Questions invited.
