Run Cattle In Demand At Feilding Sale MUTTON VALUES RISE Dominion Special Service. FEILDING, March 15. A strong sale for run cattle and a rise of about 1/- a head in the mutton values were features of the stock sale at Feilding today, when a large offering of both sheep and cattle came forward. Fat sheep: 2k heavy supply of mutton, with a good percentage of high-quality, finished lines, was forward, and for these the sale was brisk. Prices advanced. Extra prime lambs made 23/2 to 24/1. prime, 20/- to 21/9, light 15/- to 19/-; extra prime wethers, 24/9 to 25/6, prime, 23/- to 24/6, medium, 20/6 to 22/9, lighter 18/- to 20/-; extra prime ewes, 19/- to 20/6; medium prime, 16/6 to 18/3, light, 13/7 to 15/9; extra prime maiden ewes, 25/1, prime, 22/8 to 23/2. Store sheep: The demand for aged breeding ewes was not particularly keen, though no difficulty was experienced in disposing of the toixjnaiity lines.
