Branch Meeting In Marton The first meeting for 19-10 of the Wiiugiinui-Alartou branch of the Solway Old Girls’ Association was ueld at the home of Airs. Tolly, Alai'on. Mrs. Keith: Aiken read the annual report on the previous year’s activities, after which the election of ollieers for the new year took place, resulting its follows: President. Aliss At. Coekbucn; vice-presidents. Mesdames Aiken, llabone and .Shepherd: secretary for Marton, Aliss L. L’ockburu ; secreiaiy for Wanganui, Miss It. Dunkley (reelected). Mrs. Davies bad been reelected patroness at. the November meeting. Airs. liabone thanked Airs. Aiken on behalf of the branch for her services us president during the past year, and tliis was heartily endorsed by all present. A buffet afternoon tea was served, and at the close of the afternoon there remained time for a competition on New Zealand towns, which was won by .Miss "Sylvia Wnlker Mrs. Itabone invited old girls to her home in Wanganui for the April meet ing, to be held on the last Friday cf the month.
