WELCOME RAIN AT PITCAIRN
(Received March 4, 8.5 p.m.) SUVA, March 4. A report from Pitcairn Island states that after a dry spell of live weeks anxiety for crops and water was relieved <m February 39, when 1.75 inches of rain fell in 30 minutes, accompanied by a spectacular thunderstorm.
