BOWLS POSTPONED
Pennants Next Saturday
Heavy rain prevented bowls being played in Wellington on Saturday afternoon. The principal event was to have been the sixth round of the Wellington Bowling Centre’s pennant competition. It and the other centre games that were set down for Saturday will now be played on February. 24. This is the second postponement during the season, the third round of the pennant competition and other games that were to have been played on December 2 having been postponed till next Saturday.
