LORD MAYOR’S LUNCHEON

LONDON, February 9.
A distinguished company, which included the Duke of Kent, mel officers of the overseas Empire forces at the Mansion House when the Lord Mayor, at a luncheon for the officers, welcomed “men who have come thousands of miles at. a great sacrifice to join the common cause."
The Lord Mayor added that no gathering at the Mansion House could have greater significance.
