At the second series of inter-Dominion Trotting Championships the weather was ideal and there was a great attendance. Logan Derby made a brilliant sprint through the field under the whip and in the last hall’ lap won a harddriven race bv three yards, with 12 yards between second an dtliird. Supertax was never prominent. Time, 3.16. The winner did lite mile at ti rate of 2.9, breaking the State record by Ijsec. The crowd gave the winner an ovation.
