Mrs. C. Nelson and Miss Judy Nelson have returned to 'Wellington from Napier, where thej r were the guests of Mrs. C. D. Cox. Miss Margaret Wright and Miss Catherine Wright, Remuera Road, Auckland, are spending a holiday in ■Wellington. Miss Imelda Gama has returned to ■Wellington from a holiday spent in Te Awamutu.
Mrs. E. V. Davys, 'Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Charles Johnson, Taieri Mouth, Otago.
Mrs. F. S. Varnham and Misses Betty, Sybil and Nancy Varnham, have returned to New Plymouth after visiting Wellington. Miss V. R. Dixon, Kent, England, is a visitor to New Zealand. She will stay with her sister in Auckland and will later visit Wellington.
Miss I. M. Ferguson, of the Health Department, New Plymouth, is visiting ’Wellington, where she will take a post-graduate course in public health. Miss Joyce Tyler, Epsom, Auckland, is visiting her sister, Mrs. A. C. Baird, Wellington.
Mrs. A. N. McLeod, ’Wanganui, is a visitor to Wellington.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fergie, Gisborne, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. Rowling, Paekakariki Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Pigeon and Mrs. Wusten, Wanganui, are visitors to Wellington for the Exhibition. Mrs. Bessie White, 'Wanganui, Mrs. F. Setter and her daughter, Miss Irene Setter, Otane, Hawke’s Bay, who are visiting 'Wellington fdr the Exhibition and the Eucharistic Congress, are the guests of Mrs. IV. R. Setter.
Sister E. Willis and Sister N. Browne, of the Wellington Public Hospital, are on annual leave and are the guests of Miss Crooks, Rotorua.
Mrs. Arthur Wilkie, Martinborough, has returned home after spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs. Donald Duncan, Cole Street, Masterton. Miss H. Card, mayoress of Featherston, is visiting Wellington for the Eucharistic Congress and is at the Midland Hotel. Dr. Hilda Northcroft, Auckland, left last night for Wellington, where she will attend a meeting of the Obstetrical Research Committee. Mrs. IV. J. Ew.Trt, Now Plymouth, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. G. B. Wilson. Wellington. ■Wellington visitors to Auckland include Mrs. M. Page, Miss Page, Miss IV. Vickery and Miss J l '. Parsons.
Mrs. Phrelkeld and Miss Olive Phrelkeld, Christchurch, are visiting Wellington for the Exhibition and are staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, Epsom, who has been spending ir holiday at Queen "Charlotte Sound with her daughter, Mrs. Philip Hanna, Wellington, has returned to Auckland. She will go to her cottage at Waiheke Island and will be accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Charles Harley Nott, Suva, and her children.
Mrs. lan Ewart and family, Wellington, have been spending a holiday at the Majestic Hotel, Paraparaumu Beach. Miss Millicent Kennedy, M.A., Dip. Soc. Sc., Christchurch, who is to lecture at the Women’s Court lecture hall of the Exhibition tonight on "An Experiment in Internationalism,’’ will be the guest of Miss M. Magill. Eastbourne, during her stay in Wellington. Mrs. 11. J. Hight, who with her two young daughters has been visiting her sister, Mrs. H. IV. Baty, Renall Street, Masterton, has now returned to her home in Brookside, Christchurch.
