Cool m„l>t hut milder day temperatures. General Situation—The Dominion lies between a deep depression to the east and an extensive anticyclone centred over southern Australia. Forecast—Winds: From between north-west and south-west, but "Jt’ 1 tions south of west predominating; gales still probable in some localities but f-oree-raduallv decreasing. Seas (New Zealand waters) : Rough south ot Banks Peninsula and on the west coast but gradually decreasing; elsewhere slight or moderate. EasternTasman Sen: Fresh to strong south-west winds and rough seas.
