GOUNOD’S “FAUST”
Two stage performances of Gounod's opera', “Faust.” will be given iu Wellington during Centennial Music Week, June 22 to 29. The cast of soloists is particularly strong, including us it does Isoliel Baillie, soprano, Heddle Niisli. tenor, Gladys Ripley, contralto, and Oscar N'atzke. buss. The chorus will comprise 40 voices specially selected. A professiomil orchestra will be under the eondiietorship of that eminent English musician, Mr. Anderson Tyrer.
