Wellington Business Steady LITTLE CHANGE IN PRICES There was a further improvement in business on the Wellington Stock Exchange vesterduy and an increased turnover was recorded. Variations in prices were small, but the market was generally steady. An active demand for Government loans continued, but dealings were restricted, holders appearing content to await a further firming. There was a good inquiry for banks at edeady rates and several lots changed hands. More interest was shown in gas shares and Wellingtons had dealings at 31/-. Shipping shares were firm. Other industrial issues were quiet and the turnover was emnll. _ Broken Hui Proprietary recovered to 54/6.
