Two Youths Charged

CHRISTCHURCH, January IS. A round-up of a gang of four youths who in a week converted 13 cars valued at over £3OOO, resulted in two, Gordon Daniel McDonald, aged 17, and Robert Stanley Blight, also aged 17, appearing in the" Magistrates’ Court today. The other two will appear in the Juvenile Court on Saturday. McDonald and Blight were remanded till then. 'The police said McDonald carried a bunch of keys and unlocked the doors of cars, which were then driven till they ran out of petrol and were knocked about.

In remanding accused, the ,inagistrate, Mr. Hervey, said lie did not propose to treat I item as juveniles.
