Inquiries At Trcntham FIGHTING CUP FINISH There were several incidents in the rtiniiiug of the races at Trentham yesterday and the following reports of the inquiries of the judicial committee were bunded to the Press'.-— After inquiry into behaviour nt the start of W. stipendiary steward, to warn the apprentice rider E. V. Dye against the dangers of not keeping his horse under proper control.” Inquiry into complaint lodged by L. D. Berry in regard to engagement of W. J. Mudford to ride Endorsement: “That, after hearing Mr. Berry and Mr. G. D. Beatson, owner of the horse Mudford was riding, the committee is of the opinion that the cyidenco was insufficient to enable any action to be taken."
