KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY
Boy Seriously Injured Dominion Special Service. NAPIER, January 5. Knocked down by a motor-lorry after alighting from a bus, a six-year-old boy, Barry John Stttrney, was seriously injured early tonight. Tlie accident occurred near the Clive Railway Station, on the Napier-Hastings highway. The boy was taken to tlie Napier hospital. where it was found that he had a fractured thigh, slight concussion and ShoeK, sealp wounds, bruises to tile face,, and extensive abrasions. His condition tonight was fair. It is understood that tlie boy comes from New Plymouth and was holidaying in Clive with bis parents.
