Rest And Recruiting Centre In London (British Official Wireless.) (Received January 5, 7.30 p.m.) RUGBY, January 4. Tile old headquarters of the London County Council in Spring Gardens are now being converted into a centre foi recruiting and rest for Canadian troops in London. It is to be known as the Beaver Club, and it is hoped it will be ready by the middle of Febru ary. It will, it is hoped, be a worthy successor to the famous Beaver Hu: in the Strand, which afforded simila: opportunities to Canadians during the last war.
