PARIS, January 2.
A plan for an ingenious reshuffling of posts under the Nazi regime as part of a spring peace move is published with reserve by the “Petit Pansien from a correspondent in Italy. The administration of foreign affairs will be entrusted to a professional diplomat, probably Herr von Mackensen (Ambassador to Italy), and Dr. Schacht will be reinstated as Minister of Economy. The new Administration is to renounce self-sufficiency, restore world trade, observe “a political distance from Russia, aud fix the size of Czechoslovakia and Poland by arbitration by a high personage. The “Petit Parisien” expresses the opinion that German industrialists would welcome any interior solution likely to prevent a slipping toward Bolshevism.
