HAWERA MAN INJURED
Collision Between Tram And Motor-car When a tramcar and a motor-car became involved in a collision at the intersection of Coutts rind Yule .Streets. Kilhirnie. at about 8.30 o'clock hist night, a visitor to Wellington, Mr. J. Ross. Argyle Street. Hawera, received injuries to his face and left shoulder. He was taken, to the Wellington Public Hospital by the Free Ambulance. The tramcar was bound for Seatouu, and the motor-vehicle was travelling in a northerly direction along Yule Street. It was struck on the rear left wheel by the tram. Mr. Ross was sitting in the back sear, but the four other occupants of the car. including the driver, were not inju red. Tile rear of the motor-ear was damaged. and tile headlamp and a front window of the tram were broken.
