Miramar Club Tournament The Miramar Golf Club conducted au enjoyable tournament, for club members only, with a few specially invited players from other clubs, on Monday and’ again yesterday. About 50 took part. The weather was fine and the links were in capital order. Results are:—■ 5-1 holes medal handicap: A. Marsden, 225; H. A. Black, 226. Bogey: A. Marsden, 5 up (68 net). J. Shelly and 11. A. Black tied for second place, Shelly winning the play-off yesterday morning. Stableford: 11. A. Black, 36 points; V. E. Sutherland, 34. Medal: L. A. Greig, 74 net. L. A. Notley took second place with 77 after a count back with E. Henderson (Masterton).. Fourball stableford aggregate: IV. F. Stilwell and E. Henderson, 69. DUNEDIN AMATEUR TITLE Final Played In Gale And Rain By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, January 2. 'file Dunedin amateur golf championship. played on the St. Clair links, was won by IV. IV. Clayton, of the St. Clair Club, who beat a young Christchurch player, J. IV. Jackson, at the nineteenth in .the final. The match was played in a wind of gale force and occasional driving showers.
