Mails (except parcel mails) will be closed at chief post office, Wellington, C.l. as under;— Mails close at post offices, Te Aro, C.2., and Wellington East, C. 3, one half-hour prior to the closing of mails at the chief post office, between the hours of 9.30 a.in. and 5 p.m. (Mails for Auckland by “Limited” express close at these offices at 4.45 p.m.). OVERSEAS MAILS (Outward). WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3. Australian States and Countries via Aus. tralift, 3 p.m. SATURDAY, JANUARY 6. Australian States and countries via Australia, 8 p.m. Other overseas mails will be dispatched as opportunity offers. INLAND MAILS. BY AIRMAIL. (Unless otherwise indicated mailb are closed daily.) Auckland, Hamilton and Thames Districts.—'Monday to Saturday: 11 a.m. Palmerston North and District.—Monday to Saturday: 11 a.m. New Plymouth.—Monday to Saturday: 11 a.m Southern Offices (except Marlborough and Nelson districts).—Monday to Friday, Sunday: 10.20 a.m. Blenheim. —Monday to Saturday: 8.30 a.m., 3 p.m. Nelson and Reefton.—Monday to Saturday; 6.35 a.m. Nelson, Greymouth.
