Woman In Another Tram Injured

When a tramcar travelling from Courtenay Place jumped the points at the intersection of Manners Street and Cuba Street late yesterday afternoon, a passenger in another tram, Mrs. W. .1. Connors, 6 Bristol Street, received an injury to her back. She was taken to tlie Wellington Public Hospital, and after receiving treatment was able co go home. The accident occurred at about 4.15 p.m. at one of the busiest tramway intersections in Wellington, it is understood that (he cur in which Mrs. Connors was travelling was required to slop suddenly when the oilier tram became derailed.

Nobody was injured in the tram which left the rails, but trnllic was dislocated for about. 15 minutes while the car was being restored to the rails.
