FOURTEENTH BIRTHDAY

Suburban ■ Nursing Division The fourteenth birthday of the ’Wellington Suburban Nursing Division was celebrated with an enjoyable dance and social in St. Thomas’s Hall, Newtown, recently. Games and competitions were won by Miss S. Moriarty, and Messrs. Sparrow and Goodall. Before supper, Mrs. Ramsay, president, presented the trophies won during the year. The Osborne Cup for firstaid, was won by Mrs. Gay: the Clare Butts Memorial Cup for Home Nursing, by Miss A. Rudd; and the Barltrop trophy for squad work, by Mesdames Sparrow and Gay, and Misses Moriarty and Blair. On behalf of otlicers and memlters of the division, Mrs. Ramsay presented Mrs. MaeWhannell, lady divisional superintendent, witli a bouquet, and a gift, as a token of appreciation for her untiring efforts in Ihe interests of the division. Presentations were also made to the otlicers, the secretary, and acting-treasurer of the division. Mrs. Gaby, lady corps superintendent, Mrs. Osborne, Dr. Line, and a large number of otlicers, members and their friends were present.
