Miss Valerie Anderson. Auckland, was admitted as a barrister of tbe Supreme Court of New Zealand by Mr. Justice Callan this week. Miss Anderson is a graduate of Auckland University College.

Aliss Betty Andrews, and Air. Bryan Boyd. Airs. S. J. Doolan, AVanganui, who has been visiting her daughter, Aliss Alary Doolan, AVellington, has returned home.

Aliss E. Bull, Christ’s College, and Aliss Beatrice Flower, Christchurch, will leave on Tuesday on a visit to Airs. J. E. Hall, Hastings. ’ Airs. G. A. Elliott, Palmerston North, is a visitor to AA'ellington.

Aliss Alary Oakley, 8.A., Hons., Oxford, has been appointed headmistress of the Craighead'-Diocesan School, Timaru, in succession to Aliss Helena Clarke.

Airs. Percy Jackson, AVellington. who recently returned from England, is visiting her father, Air. J. Redpath, and Airs. Redpath, Christchurch. She hopes to return to London early in January, accompanied by her two daughters.
