City Council Discusses
Shortage The mayor, Mr. Hislop, Crs. AV. Appleton and AL F. Luckie were authorized by the Wellington City Council last night to make representations to the Government regarding the serious shortage of plumbing materials with a view of getting necessary supplies.. In the meantime Ihe city engineer was authorized to use his discretion in dispensing with the full requirements of the by-laws in order to avoid holding up tlie erection of buildings in the city.
