The International Tin Committee announced on -Saturday last that it had raised the quota for the quarter ending March from 100 per cent, of standard tonnages to 120 per cent. The committee on December 1 last raised the quota for the first, quarter to 100 per cent. The quota for the current quarter was raised to 100 per cent, in successive stages, while the final figure of 120 per cent, for the third quarter of lliis year was a record figure for recent years.
