Wellington Market Steady INDUSTRIALS WANTED Business was on the quiet, side on the Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday, but a fair turnover was recorded. mainly in industrial and trading issues. The market was generally steady and prices showed little or no change. There was again a strong demand lor Government loans, specially for the 4 per cent, issues, but buyers’ ideas of values did not draw sellers. The only recorded business was a small parcel of 4 per cent, stock. 19-10-43, at the firm price of £99 15/-. , . . Banks, gas. insurance and shipping shares were in good request, at steady rates. Two lots of Wellington Gas sold unchanged at 31/0. Australian and miscellaneous industrials held interest lor many buyers. A.C. Industries were firmer at 43/-. sellers 45/-. Broken Hill Proprietary were a shade easier. Kelt and 'rextiles advanced to 40/-. Colonial Sugars sold to £56/15/-.
