Wellington Market Dull
LITTLE BUSINESS DOING
After a long weekend recess, the Wellington Stock Exchange reopened quietly yesterday to a dull market. Business was inactive and a small turnover was recorded. There was a fair inquiry for Government loans, but sellers were scarce. Buyers’ quotations wore inclined to ease. Little interest was shown in the share market, the demand in most sections being slack. Australian industrials were a shade firmer.
