River’s Rapid Rise After Thaw In Otago By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, September 25. Mild weather, causing a quick thaw on mountains in Otago Central, has resulted in a rapid rjse of the Taieri River, which flooded roads near Riverside this morning. The Outram-Mos-giel train failed to get through. Some 2000 acres are inundated and many farms are isolated.
