AUCKLAND, September 25. Strongly reminiscent of such commoner occasions in the Great AVar was the scene at the Auckland railway station tonight when, in khaki and mufti, 4S officers and nou-commissioned, officers entrained for Burnham and the first part of their training as members of the special military force being raised by the Government. During the day smaller counterparts of tlie same scene took place at Hamilton, AVhangarei and Paeroa, where the combined strength of the party sent from the Northern Military District was brought up to 70. With the Aucklanders they will join other detachments from southern military areas when they reach Burnham.
