Preparing For Attempt To Refloat Liner Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, September 25. The work of unloading the cargo from the stranded steamer Port Bowen was finished at 5.30 a.m. today, advantage having been taken of tbe fine weather to work continuous shifts. ■Work is now being concentrated on preparations for an attempt to move the steamer from the beach during the high spring tides this week.
