WELLINGTON NORTH TENNIS CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Wellington North Tennis Club decided to open the season on October 7 at 2 p.m., and to hold the opening dance the fol«jwing Saturday. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr. 0. H. Chapman; president, Mr. O. McKechnie; vice-presidents, Mrs. L. M. Warner, Messrs. F. Pieot, E. Picot and F. Elvines; secretary, Mr. W. D. Gorman; treasurer, Mr, H. Harrington; club captain, Mr. C. Herlund; club vicecaptain, Mr. R. Paul; committee, Mesdames Calder and -Harrington, Messrs. H. Tapp and H. Clark. The meeting voted continued affiliation with the Wellington Lawn Tennis League and proposed placing two teams in the league’s competition.
