Y.M.C.A. BADMINTON CLUB
There was a large attendance of members at the closing function of the Y.M.C.A. Badminton Club on Saturday night. The finals of the chib’s competitions were played. The following are the winners for the past season :— Men’s singles championship, K. E. Niven ; men’s singles handicap, S. Richards; women’s singles championship, Miss N. M. Thompson; women’s singles handicap, Miss N. M. Thompson; combined doubles handicap, Mr. S. Richards and Miss J. Catehpolc; most improved player, Mr. I. Roberts.
