Talk On Nursing Technique At a recent meeting of the Wellington Ambulance Division Sister Collins gave an interesting address to about 40 members on the prevention of infection when nursing highly infectious -diseases such as typhoid and scarlet fever, and less infectious diseases such as measles and influenza. Sister Collins pointed out the necessity of isolating patients and soaking in disinfectant all clothing before washing or burning. She also explained a method of fumigating a room, using formalin or sulphur. Among other points dealt with were the uke of hot packs and poultices and the keeping of temperaturi chart*
The film-distributing organizations of Poland have expressed their intention not to handle German films. The decision has been taken in retaliation for similar treatment of Polish films in Germany.
