ENGINEERS’ UNIT
Association To Be Formed In Wellington With the object of promoting the interest of the 2nd Field Company, New Zealand Engineers, a Territorial Association of the unit is to be formed in Wellington. A meeting for this purpose, convened by Mr. F. W. Furkert. former engineer-in-chief and under-secretary of the Public Works Department, will be held in the lec-ture-room of Electricity House, Lotver Cuba Street, tomorrow. The work of 'he association will be explained by Major E. H Whiting, district publicity officer. and an officer of the Public Works Department, will give an illustrated lecture on air raid precautions and defence against gas.
